Drafting and Approvals Management

Generally, a site plan will be returned to you within 4-5 hours of providing us all the required information. Revisions are usually returned within 1-2 hours. Depending on time of day and workload, site plans may sometimes take up to 24 hours.

Approvals Management varies from council to council. On average, this costs about $800 to $1000 depending on the council, works required, etc. This includes drafting of plans, completion of forms, lodging with coucil/certifier, and tracking of all required plans and forms. You will then need to pay council/certifiers direct (don’t worry, we help with this).

A simple or detailed site plan starts from $200. This includes all borders, easements, title blocks, etc as well as any/all of the following optional extras such as area schedule, garden borders, specific trees/vegetation, contour lines (survey CAD file required), neighbouring buildings on adjacent blocks, specific dial before you dig data. For a site plan, we require an existing survey and a description/sketch of exactly what you’re after on the site plan. We will send through a document with any further required details/information. Surveys/plans can be found in your house sale contract, or your local council will likely have a copy. If you do not have an existing survey, we can estimate measurements based on aerial imagery, however this has slightly more room for error.
